Born in 1948 in Turís (Valencia), Juan Hernández has been fully dedicated to the construction of Guitars since the early age of 15. He began his craft in the Esteve workshop and became a master luthier in charge of the workshop. Throughout his vast career, he has focused on traditional Spanish, classical and flamenco construction techniques, as well as on new techniques such as double-top with Nomex core, Maestro Especial being its masterpiece. Soon in his career, his son Alberto Hernández followed the tradition and at 16 years old started to accompany the task of making Guitars, becoming now responsible for the making of the best instruments in the workshop. Spanish guitars are made with time and patience, and understanding every player is different, Juan Hernández Guitars can be customized to every detail the guitarist needs.
